Oscar-winning movie star Dustin Hoffman has sold his massive three-floor apartment at the Upper West Side’s tony Emory Roth designed San Remo co-op for a little more than $21 million. One of the city’s, and the world’s, greatest residential skyscrapers, the San Remo at 145 Central Park West is the city’s most beautiful apartment building and one of its most prestigious addresses.
The 8,000-square-foot co-op has four bedrooms and six bathrooms, and sits on floors 15 through 17 of the celebrity-laden building at 145-146 Central Park West.
Hoffman sold the place January 14 to the Lsrr Family Trust, according to StreetEasy. The listing price was not available.
Built in 1929, the San Remo is a white-glove, 27-story art deco development designed by legendary architect Emery Roth, according Real Estalker, which first spotted the sale. Building residents have included Steven Spielberg, Donna Karan, Demi Moore, Tiger Woods and Diane Keaton.
